School Bus Quilt This one was also made to raffle off for the Climb for Clean Air 2010 American Lung Association. This one was sent to Minnesota to my sister Breta's work Reinbein Transportation . She sold the tickets for $1 or 6 for $5 she raised $130.00.
The pattern for this was drawn up from a picture in a catalog that I liked, so I had to do all the calculations myself, which was not to difficult, thanks to the wonderful calculator (Quilter's Fabricalc) that my wonderful girls gave me for Christmas 2 years ago.
The material for this quilt came from a quilt shop in Anchorage Alaska, where I met this wonderful lady (that in itself is another story).
I should have named this quilt the road to nowhere, because as a bus driver you drive all day and you really don't go anywhere to exciting...I would know I use to be one...
